Cyndi moved to our beautiful valley from Napa, CA in 2015. Shes' always had dogs and cats in her life and for many years was a highly sought after pet sitter. Cyndi helped her kids and others in the local 4-H program raise their livestock. She originally was a hair stylist, but decided she'd like to try the medical field. She studied hard and earned her degree as a medical assistant. Cyndi worked for 18 years as a MA in an extremely busy OB/GYN office in Napa, CA. She's always had a great relationship with her patients, whether they're 2 or 4 legged! She met her husband Dave while visiting Thayne 9 years ago. They married in 2013 and, after searching all over, they decided to make Thayne their permanent home. Cyndi is surrounded by love from her 18 year old cat, Billie, her 12 week old kitten Dani and her son's dog, Molly. She loves to ride horses, work on her new home, and see movies with her husband in her spare time.
Kailey grew up in Southern California. She was in 4-H for 9 years raising champion market animals and showing every animal from small to large at the local fairs. She raised lambs, calves, rabbits, steers, pigs, chickens, and goats. Riding horses has played a big part in her life, even before she could walk; her dad made sure of it. After graduating high school, she moved to Paso Robles, CA. During the next two years Kailey worked for a cutting trainer on the Hearst Ranch. She then decided to move to Idaho, and work at New Leaf, a federally funded program for mentally challenged young adults. Kailey cared for many, while earning her AA degree from the College of Southern Idaho. While spending summers and holidays going to different places in Idaho and Utah, riding horses, roping, meeting new people (her boyfriend, Justin), she found herself settling in Boise Idaho, for the next four years. Still working with young adults, Kailey took on a second job and trained to groom dogs. Soon, Justin joined Kailey in Boise and they both decided to move to Afton. They chose Afton, Wyoming because of Kailey's father. He grew up spending summers there, and eventually living in the Valley for 8 years. Kailey and Justin have a growing cattle company raising Bucking Bulls. They raise, breed, and compete with their bulls. They've enjoyed living in Afton for a little over a year with their three dogs, cat, two goats (the girls), and hopefully the horses in the spring. In Kailey’s free time she enjoys her animals, family, tooling leather, wood burning, hunting, riding, pet sitting, and grooming. Kailey and Justin are looking forward to making Star valley their forever home and she is honored to be a part of the Bridger Animal Hospital team.

Maggie is originally from Concord, CA. Growing up, she loved riding horses and bringing stray animals home. Her love for animals has always been at the forefront of her career goals. While attending Colorado State University, Maggie found her passion in veterinary medicine while working in the Junior Surgery Department at the CSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital. While employed with the CSUVTH, Maggie was a technician assisting in the swine lab, where junior year veterinary students would hone their surgical skills ranging from suture techniques to abdominal exploratory surgeries. Each day would entail anesthetizing and monitoring 13 patients while also helping the veterinary students with their given tasks. Maggie began working with Carter Animal Hospital in the summer of 2005. During her almost 10 year employment with Carter Animal Hospital, Maggie wore many hats, starting as head veterinary technician, and ending as the practice manager. During her role as manager, she learned that she really liked graphic design and marketing. When she adopted her daughter in 2014, Maggie was lucky to keep the role of online marketing coordinator and continues to work from home. She is so excited about the future of Bridger Animal Hospital and looks forward to watching it progress!
